Zirbe, Stone Pine, Swiss Pine, Arolla Pine (pinus cembra) 334x110x44mm

A famous timber that hails from the European Alps and few other mountainous area of central Europe which grows at higher altitudes between 1200-2300m. It’s has long been utilised in many applications and is highly prized as a carving timber. It has an exquisite aroma and the natural oil it contains has been used in many health tonics and treatments. We sourced this fine timber in Austria on our travels a couple of years ago and are pleased to still have some available. A beautiful timber that is a joy to work.
