Suri llamas and Finnsheep roam the hillside, providing both fertilizer for the flowers and fiber for yarn enthusiasts. The farm is committed to organic and sustainable practices, growing beautiful flowers and fibers in a way that supports both the land and local craft. Finnsheep, or simply Finn, are an ancient Scandinavian heritage breed. Their wool is silky with moderate crimp and high luster, giving yarns spun from it both durability and shine. This yarn is versatile. It’s sturdy enough to resist pilling and wear well, yet soft enough for garments worn next to the skin—perfect for sweaters, accessories, and blankets. This 3-ply yarn makes beautiful cables and other textured stitch patterns. *Please note: Due to the natural, sustainable farming methods used, some vegetable matter may be present in this yarn. While we do our best to remove it, occasional bits of plant material can be part of the charm of small-batch farm yarn.
