Power Tools 201 Sunday August, 16th 1:00-4:00pm Power Tools 201: Table Saw, Router & Bandsaw Basics Already got your feet wet with our Power Tools 101 class? Ready to level up? Power Tools 201 takes your skills further by introducing you to larger, more specialized equipment found in most shared or professional shops. This is not a project-based class, but a confidence-building one. You’ll receive instruction and hands-on practice with the table saw, handheld router, router table, and band saw—tools that can transform your DIY abilities but require training and respect to use safely. Designed as a follow-up to Power Tools 101 (or for those with previous woodworking experience), this class focuses on safety, function, and best practices for these powerful machines. After completing this class, you’ll be approved to use these tools in our shop and empowered to incorporate them into your own woodworking projects. Tools we will be teaching include: Table Saw Band Saw Hand-held Router Router Table Ages: 14+ (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult) Cost: $75 (includes materials) 🛠️ Instructor: Marlys Litchfield 👟 What to Bring: Closed-toed shoes, no loose clothing or jewelry.
