Hexacorallia Sconce - Aluminium

The Hexacorallia Sconce takes its form from the microscopic architecture of marine coral, radial, structural, alive with pattern. Sand-cast by hand in aluminium, the piece is light in weight but strong in presence. Its raw surface holds the memory of the casting process, each ripple and mark individual to that piece. Alternative driver configurations are available upon request at an additional cost, including DALI, phase-dimming and touch-dimming options. Please consult your electrician to confirm the appropriate driver for your installation. Alternatively, the sconce can be supplied with an E27 lamp holder backplate and compatible E27 Dimmable Globe. All electrical installation must be carried out by a licensed electrician. Process The Hexacorallia form takes on a different character in aluminium. The porcelain casts rely on translucency; this one is about surface. Sand cast by hand in a small foundry in Sydney, each piece picks up the mould's own trace of ripples and pitting, so no two castings come out quite the same. Left raw, the brass will darken and deepen in tone with handling and light. Polished, it returns to its original shine. Made To Order Please allow 8-10 weeks for production and shipping.
