Illustrated throughout with art deco colour fashion plates and one pochoir pastedown image. Decorated art deco style cover and endpapers. Some rubbing and wear but overall a very nice copy and internally very good. The Fashion Academy was operated under the direction of Emil Avil Hartman and ran a series of courses on fashion and costume design. This fascinating little book was published as an annual prospectus and so is quite uncommon. It provides outlines of the courses and gives information about how to live in New York in the 1930s.
