An NBR rubber washer and fiber washer compress against the underside of the pan to create a watertight seal, while the receptor base solvent-welds directly to 2" Schedule 40 PVC DWV pipe. This reliable setup allows for a permanent, leak-free joint that will never loosen, back off, or weep.
