Thread Coil Bend

Thread Coil Bend Oil on mdf panel, framed in restored Tasmanian Blackwood 43cm x 39.5cm This series began with Almo of Trouthouse restoring Tasmanian Blackwood into four unique frames, each carrying its own imperfections and history. Emma then worked directly within the frames, painting onto fitted MDF board in some, and piecing together canvas scraps using rabbit skin glue in others. Frames informed the paintings, rather than the other way around. Please note each frame retains its own natural imperfections, marks and variations. Email studio@emcreasey.com with any questions.
