Rare Hungarian Szazmillio Pengo Banknote issued by the Hungarian National Bank in Budapest, Hungary in 1946 in Extra Fine Condition. This series of WWII hyperinflation banknotes were demonetized later in the year in 1946 and replaced by the Forint series. For the serious collector, the pick number is P-124. The denomination of this banknote is 100 Million pengo (100,000,000 or a 1 with 8 zeroes after it). This can be observed by the word "Szazmillio" which translates to "100 million," as well as the marking "100 Millio" on the upper right and left corners on the front side of the note. This is the second largest pure pengo denominated banknote in this series before the introduction of the milpengo (where each denomination represented millions of pengo) and B-pengo (where each denomination represented billions of pengo).
