These slipstones are usually used dry, they can also be used wet. These slip-stones are good all-round sharpening stones particularly useful for sharpening gouges. The stones are tapered with rounded profiles on the long edges. These stones have quite a coarse grit. Small Slipstone Dimensions: 2 1/4" x 7/8" x 3/16" x 1/16" approx.
