Khatima's Olive Flatweave Accent Rug | 28.3" x 3'-6"

This rug was handwoven by Khatima, an artisan from Anzal, a women-only association located in a village about 30 kilometers north of Tazenakht, a region widely known for its weaving traditions. Founded in 2007, the Anzal collective continues to preserve the region’s craft through generations of women passing weaving traditions down to one another. This piece is woven using the Zanafi technique, a flatweave style from the Siroua region. Especially unique for its reversible construction, the symbols appear inverted depending on which side of the rug is shown.
