Biography Higashihara Hosen (1886-1972) Born in Setouchi City, Okayama Prefecture in 1886. His name is Naota. Studied under Takeuchi Seiho. In 1915, he was selected for the first time for the Bunten Exhibition. From the Meiji period to the Showa period, he was active in the Bunten, Teiten, and Shinbun-ten exhibitions. Died in Kyoto in 1972 at the age of 86.
