At D'Artisan, we focused on the roughness and unevenness of the weave and the unique color faded over time found in old rugs, thoroughly analyzing everything from yarn selection to weaving design. We then pursued a texture that evokes the "layers of time" of handwoven fabric through jacquard weaving. The resulting fabric exudes a nostalgic depth, as if it has been well-used for many years. The more it is worn, the richer its appearance becomes, resulting in a special fabric with a unique presence, reminiscent of vintage rugs from the era.
