Apply a small amount of water-based lubricant, then slowly insert the weighted leaf vaginally while leaving the stem outside the body. Once it feels comfortably positioned, follow a pelvic-floor exercise routine by gently contracting and relaxing the muscles used to stop the flow of urine. Do not routinely practise by actually stopping urine midstream.
