About Extended Pooling The Extended Pooling yarn used in this kit was developed in collaboration with Xandy Peters specifically for the Floral Bouquet Shawl. While it can be used for other assigned pooling patterns, it features longer engineered colour sections than traditional assigned pooling yarn and was designed to create the knitted flowers used in the Floral Bouquet Shawl. Regular assigned pooling yarn—including other Feisty Fibres assigned pooling yarns—will not create these flowers. However, hand washing finished shawls in cool water is strongly recommended. Use only a small amount of soap if necessary. Do not soak for extended periods. Gently squeeze out excess water and lay flat to dry. Some colour runoff may occur during the first wash. Photo & Dye Lot Note Product photos are taken to best represent true colour.
