Photographic Guide to Vascular Plants of Mongolia and Adjacent Areas, Vol. 1
In this Vol. 1 on the flora of Mongolia and adjacent areas of China and Russia, 1873 colour photographs of 420 taxa of vascular plants belonging to 33 families are presented. These include, among others, the families Asteraceae (Composites), Brassicaceae (Crucifers), Caryophyllaceae (Pink family), Boraginaceae (Borage family) and Apiaceae (Umbellifers), which are very rich in species in Mongolia. The selection provides a very representative overview on the species diversity of the families covered. Most of the species that one would see during a botanically focused trip through Mongolia are found in the volumes of this book.
