So Percussion [Eric Chabeech, Josh Quillen, Adam Sliwinski, and Jason Treating] is an up-and-coming Brooklyn percussion quartet whose group name "So" is taken from the Japanese word for "playing," and in addition to the usual percussion instruments, they also play ceramic In addition to the usual percussion instruments, the group also plays with ceramic bowls, flowerpots, humming instruments, and other objects that can be struck. Grammy-winning engineer Jonathan Lowe, who has recorded for Taylor Swift and others, also co-produced and participated in various aspects of the recording. Caroline Shaw (1982-) Caroline Shaw Caroline Shaw is a vocalist, violinist, composer, and producer based in New York City. She was the youngest recipient of the Pulitzer Prize in 2013 for her composition "Partita for Eight Voices." She is also a member of the vocal group Roomful of Teeth, which won a Grammy in 2014 for Best Small Ensemble. In recent years, he has performed with Renée Fleming, Dawn Upshaw, Anne Sofie von Otter, Inon Barnatan, Gilbert Kalish, the Dover String Quartet, the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. In addition, he has actively collaborated with Kanye West in all genres, including on his albums. He currently teaches at New York University and the Juilliard School.
