Parker 51 Custom Pencil in Teal. 1953.

The Parker 51 Pencil used from 1948 to 1957 was a repeater, mechanism, as in this example. The pencil carries a date code for 1953. Finished in Teal Blue this is the Custom version, featuring a Gold filled cap and clip, secured with a pearl cap jewel. The pencil is in very good condition throughout. The cap has no 'dings', showing only light usage marks and the barrel is pristine. Pressing the cap extends the lead. The eraser is accessed by pulling off the cap, spare leads are stored in the barrel. The pencil is in excellent working order and would make a first class and very attractive every day vintage writer.
