About Rosa Rapé (Hapé) This healing blend, crafted by the women of the Yawanawá tribe of Acre, Brazil, combines tobacco from tribal lands and Tsunu ash (Platycyamus regnellii) with an intentional blend of white and pink rose petals — whose delicate fragrance permeates the blend from the moment the bottle is opened, setting it apart from single-rose blends. Part of the Yawanawá's Força Feminina tradition, a living lineage of feminine shamanic practice, this is a rapé prepared and held entirely by women. In Brazilian spiritual traditions, white roses carry qualities of purification, inner peace, and forgiveness — associated with Oxalá and Iemanjá, and widely used in ritual baths (banho de rosas) for spiritual cleansing throughout Umbanda and Candomblé practice. Pink roses connect to Oxum, the orixá of love and sweetness, and are a traditional symbol of self-love and the opening of the heart. Together, they give this rapé a distinctly heart-centred, gentle character — traditionally worked with for emotional softening, self-forgiveness, and inner reconnection. Despite its softness of character, this carries the full weight and presence of a well-made Yawanawá rapé — grounding through the body, while the rose opens something quieter and more tender alongside it. The floral scent is immediate and unmistakable from the first moment. Explore the tradition behind this blend in our Ancient Art of Rapé article. This Rosa rapé is meticulously crafted by the women of the Yawanawá tribe of Acre, Brazil, for our customers.
