Pathfinder Quest is a cooperative adventure board game for 1–4 players. Build your character(s) from the ground up by choosing their ancestry, class, and ability cards—or dive right in and play a prebuilt iconic hero! From character creation to combat challenges and exploration, each player’s actions matter, with choices that ripple throughout the entire multisession campaign. Designed to bridge the gap between quick, randomized dungeon crawlers and sprawling, prep-heavy delves, Pathfinder Quest offers a full campaign of 12 possible adventures, each lasting approximately 2 hours. With no GM required, an introduction that swiftly teaches the rules as you play, and a rich narrative that rewards teamwork, this game is sure to be a hit whether your group is new to tabletop gaming or seasoned veterans of the adventuring life! Dead things prowl the woods around the town of Falcon’s Hollow. No longer content to rest in their graves, they stalk the living, hungry for their flesh. Worse still, the nearby volcano of Droskar’s Crag has begun to spew plumes of black smoke, threatening to cover all Darkmoon Vale in a cloud of burning ash! The people of Falcon’s Hollow turn to you to save them! Your four adventurers are all that stand between the small lumber town and total destruction. Do you have what it takes to track the undead to their source and defeat this dire evil before it’s too late? After creating four unique characters with just a few simple choices, you’ll use the Adventure Book to explore the town of Falcon’s Hollow, along with its nearby wilderness and foreboding ruins, undertaking challenges and making choices that determine the course of your group’s story. Using your characters’ skills and other abilities, you’ll roll Quest Dice to determine the outcome of your effort and refer to the secretive Challenge Book to learn your fate! But that’s not all. Fearsome foes wait around every corner, some looking for an easy meal, others bent on your destruction! During combat, each character can take three actions to make the best use of their special feats, spells, and equipment! But beware—your enemies will put up a fight, using a preset list of actions that guide them throughout combat, as well as randomly activated special abilities! Through the clever use of combat challenges and tactical use of your characters’ unique strengths, you can overcome any obstacle this game has to offer! You’ll level up after completing each adventure, gaining new spells, feats, and other abilities that allow you to face even more dangerous foes. You might also uncover amazing magical treasure!
