19th Century Scottish Oak Bureau Bookcase With Carved Secretaire

A Victorian Scottish oak bureau bookcase, believed to be 19th century, formed in two sections. The upper case has moulded and carved panel doors with floral tracery; the lower section incorporates a fall-front secretaire with carved detailing, small internal drawers and multiple larger drawers beneath. The piece retains a dark original finish and displays the surface wear expected of a working antique. Dimensions Width: 93 cm Depth: 52 cm Height: 210 cm Condition Structurally sound and splits into two sections for transport. There are numerous surface marks, scratches and general wear to the finish, particularly to edges and drawer fronts. The interior writing leather is very worn and cracked and several small internal bureau handles have broken (some remains in situ).
