Crafted at Meleng Tea Estate from the distinguished P-126 clonal cultivar, this finely made FTGFOP1 Clonal Special is an elegant expression of Assam orthodox tea-making, combining careful plucking with measured, unhurried manufacture. Harvested on 21 August 2026 and manufactured the following day, the tender leaf underwent a 16-hour wither to 57%, allowing the natural character of the cultivar to develop gradually. A carefully controlled three-hour oxidation encouraged depth, colour and aromatic complexity before the tea was dried over 24 minutes. The finished leaf was subsequently well sorted using a dimple tray, lending the lot a clean, refined and uniform appearance.
