Trevannion 2025

Named for Elizabeth Trevannion, owner of Knightor in the late 16th Century. Her husband wrote 'I married a gentlewoman more for her worth than her wealth'. Tasting Notes: A blend of our most perfumed grapes with a lovely bouquet and aromas of rose water, lychee and spice. The palate is fruit-forward and medium to full bodied showing plently of tangy grapefruit flavours and a long spicy finish. Winemaker's Notes: This wine is made from the highly perfumed pink skinned Siegerrebe variety. The grapes were destemmed and gently pressed. The must was then fermented cool in stainless steel to preserve freshness and aromatics. This was then allowed a short aging on the fine lees before being blended and bottled early 2026. Wine: Still White Grape Variety: Siegerrebe Body: Medium to full Sweetness: Off-Dry Alcohol: 11.5% Style: Highly aromatic, combining floral aromas of rose petal, grapefruit and lychee with flavours of dried fruit and spice. Serve: Chilled at 10°C. Food Pairing: A versatile, food friendly wine. Excellent with white meats or lightly spiced dishes.
