Novaresi Murano glass frosted leaves chandelier, Italy 1970s

This Italian chandelier was made by Novaresi in the 1970s and is an atmospheric lighting piece that beautifully showcases the artistry of Murano glassmaking. Novaresi is a Milano-based company founded in the 1940s, but all its glasswork has always been made in Murano The overall size is 53 cm in height and 53 cm in diameter. The chandelier is composed of a brass central structure from which numerous glass leaves are suspended, creating a delicate, layered form. When illuminated, the Murano glass elements emit a soft yellow glow, producing a warm and immersive lighting effect. The interplay between polished metal and luminous glass makes this chandelier a functional light source and a decorative statement piece that reflects the high quality and aesthetic sophistication typical of Italian lighting from this period.
