3" x 1-1/4" Cast Iron V-Groove Wheel Swivel Brake Caster, 3/8"-16 x 1-1/2" Threaded Stem - Part # Q523038VGTLB V-groove wheels are designed to guide equipment by rolling on inverted angle iron track, however, they can also operate off the track thanks to the tread on either side of the v-groove. While not designed to run on flat iron, there is a 1/4" opening in the v-groove that can be used with 3/16" flat iron tracks. Cast Iron is the standard metal wheel used by most unless a heavier capacity or greater impact strength metal wheel is needed. For applications requiring more capacity or impact strength, check out the ductile steel & forged steel wheel caster options. This caster features an all-steel top lock brake that performs well in a wide range of applications, including those involving heat. The side-mounted brake pedal provides a more compact design than face contact & total lock brakes. The compact design minimizes the swivel radius, allowing the caster to spin freely 360 degrees with minimal obstruction.
