Funk Week '26: Funk Fest: Year 2! - Tuesday September 8th - Ghost Whale Brixton

Carrying on from last Autumn's Funk Fest, we're dedicating the entire first week of September to celebrating mixed fermentation beer! Funk Week '26 is crammed with a handful of super fun(ky) events including bottle shares, tap takeovers & more. Tuesday September 8th marks the grand finale / headlining event of our Funk Week! Revisiting the funk-forward event that inspired this mad week of funky fun, we're hosting the same three funkmasters Mill's, Scatterlings & The Kernel for Funk Fest year 2! We had an absoluute blast with this all star cast last year, so much so that we couldn't resist inviting them back for another evening spent celebrating FUNK! Jonny, Brett & James will all be present yet again, this time descending upon our Brixton garden with three of the funkiest brews they've produced over the last year. WHAT'S POURING? Scatterlings 'Green Hop Cuvee' - A blend of 2024 & 2025 green hop Saisons, the latter (2025 edition) was sampled at last year's Funk Fest! 'Champuru' - Oak aged Saison dry hopped with US Crystal, NZ Nelson & UK Sovereign 'Stormbreaker' - Oak aged table-strength Saison dry hopped with Motueka & packaged with fresh ginger, lime & smoked sea salt. The Kernel 'Biere de Saison: Mosaic' - Mixed culture Saison aged in French oak barrels before being blended and dry-hopped with Mosaic. 'Biere de Saison: Raspberry' - Mixed culture Saison aged in French oak barrels, refermented with 300 grams per litre of whole British raspberries for 4 months. 'Oud Bruin' - Flemish style funky Brown Ale Mill's 'Okay' - Honey infused barrel aged Wild Ale 'Aperitif' - Blend of strong, pale wild beers aged on average for two years in barrel before a hefty dry hop of Savinjski Goldings. 'Digestif' - Blend of two dark beers aged for three years in French oak barrels, dry hopped with whole leaf German & Slovenian hops.
