Temperature Probe for Blue Myco B-310L, B-550L & B-1180L Sterilizers

Replacement temperature probe for the Blue Myco B-310L, B-550L and B-1180L commercial sterilizers.The probe mounts either on the back of the dome lid or on the underside of the vessel, and feeds the PID controller its digital temperature readout. Everything the controller does — holding set point, running the insulation timer, cutting the elements — depends on what this probe reports. A drifting probe means the chamber is not where the display says it is.Replace the probe if: The actual temperature reads well off the set value during a cycle The readout jumps, freezes or drops out The wiring or connector is damaged or heat-degraded Recalibration no longer brings the reading back into line Installation tip: protect the wiring with heat-shrink tubing and heat-proof thermal tape. Heat cycling at the connection is what kills most probes, and a few minutes of protection at install adds years of service.Inspect and clean the probe periodically — sediment build-up on the tip will skew readings before the probe itself fails.
