Empilé

Turn the Empilé glass to the side and its base tells the story — a series of stacked rings, each one slightly wider than the last, giving the impression of separate discs fused together into a single sturdy foot. It’s a detail that adds real weight and presence in the hand, distinct from the smooth, straight-sided bowl above it. The deep mauve glass darkens toward the base and lightens near the rim, a natural gradient from the glassblowing process that makes the ringed foot look almost sculpted from shadow. Practical enough for daily use, it works equally well for water, wine, or a short cocktail. Because each piece is mouth-blown, slight variations in the rings and the tone of the glass are part of its character — no two are exactly alike.
