Tanuki

Good Fortune. The Tanuki is one of Japan's most familiar folkloric creatures. You'll see them all the time outside shops and restaurants, and they are widely regarded as a symbol of good luck, prosperity and success. The Shigaraki Tanuki in particular is the one associated with business success and prosperity. Our Tanuki bead captures a playful spirit, reminding us not to take every step too seriously. Sometimes, good fortune arrives with a smile, a little mischief, and an open mind. Meaning: Good fortune • Prosperity • Success • Playfulness Leave room for a little mischief along the way.
