Trak18 Edge Carpet – 1/2" Heavy-Duty Golf Simulator Screen Edge Protection
Trak18 Edge Carpet – Heavy-Duty Edge Protection for Golf Simulator Impact Screens The Trak18 Edge Carpet is a 1/2" thick, impact-rated weave that lines the perimeter of your golf simulator impact screen and seals the gap to the wall. It fastens to the screen's velcro edges with hook-and-loop backing, absorbing off-centre shots before they can damage drywall, trim or framing. Designed and made in Canada. Thicker, Quieter Screen Edge Protection Built to Last Edge Carpet is the heavier-duty of Trak18's two screen edge protection options. The thicker weave deadens the sound of perimeter strikes and stands up to more abuse than lighter trim – a smart choice for busy home simulators, garage bays that see daily use and commercial golf studios. Thickness: 1/2" Widths: 8", 10" or 12" Lengths: 7 ft to 17 ft in 1 ft increments Face: Impact-rated carpet weave Attachment: Hook-and-loop (velcro) backing – mounts to the velcroed edges of your screen Protects: Walls, ceilings and framing from scuffs, ball marks and impact damage Origin: Made in Canada Choosing the Right Width and Length Go wider where the gap between the screen and wall is larger or where you expect the most mis-hits – often the top edge and the side nearest the hitter. Pick one width and length per strip, and add the strips you need for each side and the top. Sizing tip: order each strip 3–6" longer than the edge it covers so the pieces overlap neatly at the corners – no exposed frame and a cleaner finish. Edge Carpet or Edge Guard – Which Should You Choose? Trak18 Edge Carpet – 1/2" thick, heavy-duty and quieter on strikes; best for high-use bays and maximum protection. Trak18 Edge Guard – a slimmer 9" impact-rated fabric trim; best for a clean look and tight clearances. Complete Your Golf Simulator Protection Trak18 Ecofelt Acoustic Wall & Ceiling Panels – absorb echo and stray shots on the walls and ceiling around your screen. Trak18 Ball Bungees (50-Pack) – heavy-duty bungees for even screen tension. Shop our golf impact screens and golf simulator enclosure kits. Perfect for Golf Simulators From home golf simulators in basements and garages to commercial training bays and golf studios, Trak18 Edge Carpet frames your screen with durable, sound-dampening protection that keeps the room behind it looking new.
