Model 305 “Janus” side table, designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar, c.1957. The mahogany tables defining feature is its multi-tonal Murano glass mosaic top. Wormley’s Janus collection famously incorporated custom materials, including Murano glass and Tiffany Studios Favrile glass. The top showcases a complex, mineral-like arrangement of cream, gold, and amber fragments, sliced by a striking naturalistic dark vein that displays like an abstract painting.
