Wall Mounted Aluminium Stag Head | Antique Gold Finish Deer Bust

Aluminium Wall Mounted Stag Head | Antique Gold Finish Stag heads have hung in British country houses and hunting lodges for centuries, and they've long been a sign of a well dressed hall or study. This cast aluminium deer bust is a nod to that tradition. Its antique gold finish has darker tones worked into the recesses, which bring out every detail of this majestic animal. Fitted with a simple wall mounted fixing at the back, this golden stag head is easy to hang. Cast in lightweight aluminium, it's gentle on your walls without compromising on durability. The coat is sculpted in layered tufts that run down the chest. Around the eyes, ears and muzzle, the face is finely textured. Both antlers are ridged along their length and branch out into a wide spread of tines. Because the head faces straight out from the wall, it reads as balanced and symmetrical, making a natural centrepiece. It looks as at home above a period fireplace as it does in a modern hallway or study.
