No. The mesh is optical-grade, so you can see out from the inside while it blocks heat from the outside. Do I need to drill? No. It uses patented 3M™ VHB adhesive, so there are no holes in your window frame or RV. Can I remove it in winter? Yes. The shade snaps off and re-installs seasonally in seconds. What size window does the 28 × 52 in panel cover? It is precut to 28 × 52 in. If your opening is smaller, trim the panel down with household scissors for an exact fit.
