Alashiya

Alashiya is a sculptural vessel inspired by the ancient forms of the eastern Mediterranean. Its generous body and restrained silhouette recall vessels shaped by hand for storing precious oils, wine, and goods carried between ancient ports. Named after Alashiya, the Bronze Age kingdom closely associated with ancient Cyprus, the vessel draws from a world where objects moved between Egypt, the Levant, and the wider Mediterranean. Its hand-worked surface and subtle irregularities give the piece an archaeological character, as though shaped by both the maker and time. Dimensions: 12" (h) x 11" (diameter)
