It provides 16 input channels and 16 output channels with opto-coupler isolation for excellent noise immunity. An on-board isolated 5VDC power supply (600mA) is included, eliminating the need for an external supply in many applications. All 16 input signals can be used as interrupt requests with selectable trigger edges. The board is connector-pin compatible with the PIO-16/16TB(PCI) for easy migration. Digital filter — Prevents wrong recognition of input signals from carrying noise or chattering. Interrupt capability — All 16 input signals can be used as interrupt requests. Interrupt trigger edge (rising or falling) is selectable. Internal power supply — On-board isolated 5VDC, 600mA supply. External power option also available. Compatibility — Connector pin assignment is compatible with PIO-16/16TB(PCI).
