Outcrop

A limestone shelf pushes into the Borgo Pignano pool from the top of the frame, raw rock meeting engineered edge with no transition. The water reads in three distinct blues — pale over the shallow shelf, deep turquoise in the body, almost white where sun catches the ripple.A beige parasol and three loungers occupy the top right corner, small enough to give scale to the mass of water. Nearly abstract, but the rock keeps it grounded in a real place.Fine art giclée print on premium archival paper.
