Basalt Tiles S - Resin Miniature Scatter Terrain Create weathered stone scenery and atmospheric miniature bases with 60 detailed Basalt Tiles S. Featuring interlinked hexagonal shapes and varied natural stone textures, these resin scenery pieces are ideal for decorating miniature bases, building ruined landscapes and adding rocky details to tabletop terrain. Measuring approximately 5-15mm overall, the tiles can be arranged individually or in groups to create fragmented stone surfaces, ancient ruins and rugged environments. No additional assembly required. Preparation & Painting The Basalt Tiles are supplied on double-sided resin frames for protection during storage and transit. Each tile is held in place by small support struts. Carefully remove these using sharp hobby clippers and trim any remaining attachment points. Attach the tiles to miniature bases, scenery or models using super glue. The resin is cleaned and fully cured before packaging, so no additional cleaning is required. For best results, apply a suitable miniature primer before painting. Stone greys, earthy browns, dark washes and drybrushed highlights can bring out the weathered rock textures. Additional weathering, moss or vegetation effects can help create the appearance of ancient ruins and natural landscapes. Creating Basalt Scenery Combine Basalt Tiles S with Small and Medium Basalt Columns to create more elaborate rocky environments. The complementary hexagonal shapes allow the different pieces to be arranged together, making them ideal for fragmented stone formations, ruined structures and miniature base decoration.
