Gothic Lambeth Wedding Cake

Our white Lambeth wedding cake has taken a darker turn. This Gothic version is covered in black fondant and finished with ornate black royal icing piping for a dramatic, vintage look. We use fondant instead of black buttercream and black royal icing for the piped details to help minimize the amount of black coloring that comes into contact with your guests’ mouths and teeth. Choose a one-tier or two-tier round cake, or a one-tier heart cake, along with your preferred cake flavors. The photo is a rough example of the Lambeth style you’ll receive. Each cake is piped by hand, and the details may vary as I add my own creative touches. A note about black coloring: Black dye may temporarily stain mouths and teeth, and it can affect the flavor of the icing. Covering the cake in fondant helps reduce these effects as much as possible, but it cannot eliminate them. Please leave any additional details we should know in the notes below.
