Wisconsin Hardy Pear Tree

Uncommon to other pears- the skin of this pear is russeted. It's base of golden that turns a copper red color when the fruit ripens. The flesh is white and firm which makes for excellent canning and eating. The pear is hardy as most pears are and is best to ripen off the tree. Stores well when in cooler temperatures but will soften when left at room temperature.
