THE RIDE The EXP V2 is a high level open cell foil for advanced and expert riders. Developed with feedback from Greenland expedition guides including Håkon Mæland and Camilla Ringvold, its mid/high aspect design pairs efficiency with dependable, predictable flight. WHAT'S NEW ON THE V2 Sharper handling: a slightly deeper arc and revised bridle geometry give quicker turns, a tighter loop radius before the spin point and more immediate power Lighter build: a high cell count double surface profile (38 to 44 cells) in ultralight Dominico 20D/10D fabric, plus a re-optimised bridle using several line types to cut drag and weight Same proven core: the V1 profile and planform are retained, keeping the stability the EXP is known for, with a sportier feel especially in the smaller sizes SAFETY AND DEPOWER The Internal Re-Ride Release System (5th line) lets you self land and secure the kite in any conditions, then relaunch when you are ready. EXPEDITION READY Sheathed lines help prevent knots, and the included lightweight Compressor Bag keeps pack size down for day trips and keeps pulks organised on longer trips. For backcountry missions with multiple kites, pair it with the Ozone Technical Mountain Bag. DESIGNER'S PERSPECTIVE Stu Yarrow, Ozone snowkite designer, kept the proven V1 profile and outline and focused the V2 on handling: a little more arc for faster turns and new bridles for a more direct bar feel. RIDER GUIDANCE Built from lightweight performance fabrics: suits an experienced rider who handles the kite carefully on the ground Always fly with a Brake Handle for easier inflation, self landing and reverse launch Use with the Snow EXP control system (recommended, maximum depower) or Contact Snow.
