Amethyst and South Sea Pearl Drop Earrings

An elegant expression of contemporary fine jewellery, these 18ct yellow gold drop earrings bring together the rich violet tones of amethyst, the natural lustre of South Sea pearls and the brilliance of white diamonds. Combining contrasting gemstones with a fluid, elongated silhouette, the design celebrates the individuality of each stone while creating a beautifully balanced composition. At the heart of the design are two bead-style amethysts, recognised for their distinctive purple hues and natural depth of colour. Their smooth, rounded forms offer a softer interpretation of traditional gemstone jewellery, bringing richness and character to the earrings while beautifully complementing the warmth of 18ct yellow gold. Two South Sea pearls introduce a luminous contrast to the coloured gemstones. Prized for their exceptional lustre and distinctive presence, South Sea pearls are among the most sought-after varieties in fine jewellery. Their organic character brings a sense of softness and movement to the design, creating a harmonious balance between the pearls and amethysts. Natural white diamonds, totalling 0.38ct and graded F colour and SI clarity, introduce an additional element of brilliance. Their bright white appearance creates a delicate contrast against the rich amethyst tones and luminous pearls, bringing together three distinct elements of fine jewellery in one design. Crafted in 18ct yellow gold, these drop earrings offer a contemporary interpretation of classic pearl and gemstone jewellery. The result is an elegant statement piece, combining colour, texture and natural brilliance in a design intended to be treasured for generations.
