Psalm 46

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Psalm 46 was written for times when the world feels like it’s shaking: when mountains fall into the sea, nations are in uproar, and nothing seems steady. In the middle of it all, God speaks a simple, steadying word: “Be still, and know that I am God.”This print captures that stillness. A golden meadow filled with white daisies stretches up a gentle hillside toward a sun-washed farmhouse with terracotta roofs, framed by dark cypress trees and soft blue hills. Loose watercolor washes in honey, wheat, cream, and sage, with delicate splatters across the sky, give it a warm, sunlit, old-world charm. Below the painting, “PSALM 46” is set in elegant serif capitals, with the complete psalm in two clean columns beneath.
