"SANT DOMINGO FOREVER" - Maria Jaume Vinyl

Maria Jaume presents Sant Domingo Forever, an album rooted in the festivities of Sant Domingo, the patron saint celebration of her hometown, Lloret de Vistalegre, in Mallorca. Through a deeply personal and nostalgic perspective, the record explores memory, identity and the complex emotions tied to home. Set during a week of summer celebrations, the fourteen songs draw on the sounds, rituals and encounters that shape the festivities, weaving together love, friendship, family and loss. Blending contemporary pop with references to Mallorcan musical traditions, the album transforms intimate experiences into a shared portrait of belonging, shaped by the distance that has allowed Maria Jaume to reconnect with her roots. Co-written with Lluís Cabot, who also recorded and produced the album, Sant Domingo Forever moves between Barcelona and Mallorca, bringing together personal memories and collective traditions in a luminous, emotionally nuanced work.
