Sometimes a sweater is just too much sweater. A little too warm, a little too dressed up. But the alternative shouldn’t have to be a sweatshirt. That’s the space we wanted to fill with the Torino. Made in Italy from an Italian cotton-cashmere fleece, it has the softness and comfort you want from a sweatshirt, but in a long-sleeve polo that feels considerably more put together. It’s easy over a T-shirt, works just as well layered over a woven shirt and has enough refinement to stand on its own. We originally thought of it as the thing you’d throw on to elevate the morning coffee run. Then we took it to Montana, put it under a suit and realized we had underestimated it. Turns out, there’s a lot more room between a sweatshirt and a sweater than we thought. Wash with like colors, do not bleach, do not dry clean. Reshape and lay flat to dry. Cool iron if needed.
