China 1842, Sub-Conductor – Madras Ordnance. China 1842 ,J. K. Williams, Sub-Conductr., Madras Ordnance. fitted with original straight bar suspension. We have found a “Conductor” J Williams in the 1858 India register, appointed in Nagpore in 1847, but needs research to prove if it is the same man? Condition – Some edge bruising but generally VF, wear to naming in places, possibly traces of having been held in a circular mount at some point?
