Domaine Michelot Meursault Blanc 2024
This cuvée is crafted from a blend of plots across very different soils. Mid-slope parcels sit on clay-limestone with rocky scree, lower hillside plots on clay-limestone with gravel, and others on slopes with either clay-limestone over rocky limestone or clay-limestone over marl. The combination of these terroirs gives the wine balance, depth, and texture. Taste Fruity and opulent, with aromas of ripe apple, citrus and subtle floral notes. The palate is medium-bodied with a creamy texture, balanced acidity, and flavours of white peach and almond. The finish is fine and persistent, reflecting Meursault’s classic elegance and excellent ageing potential. About the Producer Domaine Michelot is one of Meursault’s most respected estates, held by the same family for over six generations. The domaine’s reputation was cemented in the 1970s under Bernard Michelot, who was among the first in the village to bottle his ‘lieux-dits’ parcels individually, highlighting the unique character of each vineyard.
