Antique scarab beetle brooch

A great scarab brooch in excellent condition. This brooch is a great example of the "Egyptian Revival" craze in which scarab beetles (both real and artificial) were very popular in a range of jewellery, so this is probably from the early 1900s. Condition: Excellent antique condition. More details Approximately 4cm wide (1.57 inches) and 1cm high (0.39 inches). Gold tone metal. Real scarab beetles.
