Silver, Gold and WineClub members enjoy free freight. COLOUR: Clear dark cherry red of moderate intensity and cling. NOSE: Clean semi pronounced aromas of warm bramble fruits and strawberry conserve with a sweet toasty nuttiness. PALATE: Clean medium bodied flavours of spicy dark blackberries and a soft liquorice cocoa background. Softened brittle tannin structure finishes with a moderate cinnamon soft toast impression. WINEMAKING: Fruit sourced from various estate and local Pyrenees Shiraz blocks. Traditional open vat vinification techniques applied with minimal intervention to preserve its regional identity. FOOD PAIRING: Gourmet sausages, slow cooked brisket, grilled portobellos, creamy mushroom risotto. VINTAGE: A typical La Niña vintage (meaning "the little girl" in Spanish) – cool and not as hot as an El Niño summer. Cool conditions in early spring led into a warm and dry period for flowering producing a balanced crop load across all varieties. A warm dry summer led to an extended cool autumn creating optimum ripening conditions for full flavour development prior to a slightly later harvest in March through to April.
