The original, larger format version of this Michigan Trivet was created by former Pewabic Designer Mario Lopez in 2008. Over the years, warping and cracking during the tile-making process necessitated a new, slightly smaller design. Current Pewabic Designer Chris Mayse reformatted the design and the new 6" Michigan Trivet Tile was unveiled in the summer of 2026.
