Thedi Leathers Cossack Jacket MTC-S7950B3 - Bruciato Reverse Horsehide

The MTC-S7950B3 Cossack jacket from Thedi Leathers is a heavy weight stunner. The leather, fit, construction and details are all top notch, it's a great lifetime jacket that will only get better with some ageing. The reversed (roughout) Bruciato Horsehide leather from Italy is a stunning medium to heavy weight leather (around 1.2-ish mm thickness) with a nice amount of hairy roughness. It is quite pliable with a little stiffness to start with, although, it felt very comfortable and eased up immediately during the photo shoot. We asked Thedi to give them a light washed effect and it is perfect. It's very subtle and just takes off that new new edge look, it looks great. I'll say it again, this leather is lovely, quite hefty feeling for the style but that weight feels reassuring and like it will hold your shape well. The other details: Hard wearing but soft cotton drill lining (adds to the above felt heft), brass vents to the pits which are surrounded by a sewn in leather shaped patch for extra wear protection, branded zip internal gun pocket (who doesn’t love that pocket), two way branded heavy duty Thedi zip, two outer hand warmer pockets, heavy stitched short cossack collar that covers your neck for the windy days and quality Tan coloured buttons to the sleeves. For sizing please see the sizing info and measurements but the Cossack jacket is ever so slightly longer and trimmer than many of the boxy styles of Cossacks out there. The leather will develop rolls in the sleeves and comform to your body shape so a little longer on the sleeve and body is no bad thing. What really stands out immediately about Thedi jackets is the construction and detail. From the fantastic stitching, the button attachment, the hardware and all the details you will see, everything feels very solid like it was built for the bike and styled for everyday wear. These are lifetime jackets that will keep getting better the more you wear them. It's a stunner! Made in a small workshop in Greece by a great man and his small team.
