8492 Sony TC-FX5 Stereo Cassette Deck — Grade A Condition| Sendust & Ferrite Head | Dolby B | Tested & Working The Sony TC-FX5 is a stereo cassette deck manufactured in Japan by Sony, first sold in 1981 and forming part of Sony’s mid-range cassette deck line of the period. It is a 2-head design using Sony’s Sendust & Ferrite (S&F) head construction, offering Dolby B noise reduction and compatibility with normal, chrome, ferro-chrome, and metal tape formulations. This example is in excellent condition throughout and has been inspected and tested by Andrew in our workshop. Condition: Grade A — Great — The unit presents in excellent condition, with no significant marks to the silver-finished casework.
